001-Kannonji Collection
Arako Kannon is a temple of the Tendai sect in Arako-machi, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Pref. It is also called "Arako Kannonji". Also known as "Arako no Kannon san". The main deity is Shoh Kannon , a secret Buddha that opens once every 33 years.It is also known that many Buddhas of Enku are preserved at Kannonji Temple. As of 2014, there are 1,255 Enku Buddhas remaining in the temple, which is the top number in Japan.
